We still have a few games to go before the seeding is finalized but I can talk to anticipated attendance and atmosphere. Obviously being in CT UConn fans will be the dominate fanbase at the tournament. All UConn games will be sold out and very loud. We will have a student section of 150 which is all the AAC will allow us. Games surrounding a game UConn plays in will see a bump in attendance also. Expect ticket prices to take a big jump if we are playing on Sat and Sun.
As far as how well the other teams travel I really can't say. In the Big East days MSG was an easy drive for 9 or 10 teams. Now really only Temple can say that about Hartford. That said Connecticut supports basketball but more importantly we support good basketball. If teams come with their A game word of mouth will spread and crowds will grow for non UConn games.
